Triangles

Summary:
I was looking into the Bermuda Triangle the other day, and i soon realised that there were infact a couple of other 'triangles' where strange things has happen. I always like to find a pattern, and although this might prove to be inconclusive it does certain pipped my curiosity.

Note 1:

One of the controversial mystery that many have heard of. The mysterious triangle that so many vessels and aircraft have disappeared into, while coast guards have announced that the disappearance is no greater then that of other area, we must remember that the twist here is that they disappear without any good reason (say a logical engine failure). Albeit there are indeed other bizarre disappearance of ship in other seas as well.

Note that a simple search on the internet will point out that compass that is in the Bermuda Triangle points to the true north, rather that the magnetic north and that there is only one other area at sea that does this - the Formosa Triangle AKA the Devil Sea.

However i was disappointed to find out this is not really true, since a deeper research shows this to be false. The Agonic Line - if you're along this line, then your north will always point to the true north. However this Agonic Line, affected by the earth's magnetic field has shifted. If it really did run through the Bermuda Triangle, i doubt it does now. Besides i doubt this will have any bearing on the disappearance of the ships since it seems obvious to me that the navigators of vessels would be proficient in matters such as magnetic declination anyway.

Note 2:
Bermuda Triangle, Formosa Triangle and the Michigan Triangle. Interesting, triangles ?

A triangle - a 3 pointed shape, three. Hrm. What is it about this point that seem to stuck itself in my head ? If you poke around even further you will find even more mysterious areas of triangular characteristic where things disappear but more on that later.

I remember working on triangles in my maths class, one of my favorite lessons since a triangle seemed so logical to me, it always added up to 180 degree and if you have the angle of two sides you can find the remaining one side's. So many formulas like pick's theorem. I don't know why but i just have this feeling that there is something mystical about  triangles. Almost like an unknown formula i cannot figure out.

Well maybe all this 'triangles' are pointing to one single spot.

Well i'm amazed, i started righting this post about the Bermuda Triangle but as i go on i discover all this other triangle spots and i just feel at a loss of words, as if there is a connection i am not seeing. I was posting this halfway when i went out to get something, so it seem disjointed and doesn't flow well - i seem to have lost the writer's moment so i guess i will stop. I must remind myself to follow up on the topic of the 'triangles'.

Triangles:
Bass Strait Triangle
Bridgewater Triangle
Bennington Triangle
Devil's Sea
